Start a Club in Your Community

There are many opportunities for youth in the sport of archery, from recreational shooting to competitive international archery. Ready to bring a new club to your community? Here's how to get started:

  1. 1

    Choose a club name

Check the USA Archery club locator first to make sure the name you want isn't already in use.

  2. 2

    Designate a certified instructor

Every club needs at least one current USA Archery Level 2 (or higher) Certified Instructor.

  3. 3

    Select a facility

Find a range or space suited to the programs you plan to offer, indoors or out.

  4. 4

    Acquire equipment

Source bows, arrows, and targets through USA Archery's approved equipment vendors.

  5. 5

    Spread the word

Promote your club on social media and partner with local schools and parks and recreation departments.
