When: June 18, 2011, 1:30 to 5 PM

How:  To sign up, email Bob Pian azjoad@cox.net , FITA International Judge Candidate on behalf of the Arizona State Archery Association.  Space is limited, sign up early.

How much:  The seminar is FREE to USAA members.  Those who are not USAA members may join the USAA prior to the seminar and take part for FREE.

Optional:  USAA members who have been members for a minimum of one year and are 18 years old and older, may apply to become a USAA Judge candidate (Separate $35 application fee to the USAA)

Intermediate Instructor Certification Class

Intermediate Instructor Course:  An intermediate instructor certification course will be held on two Sundays, June 19 & 26, 2011.  We encourage archers, parents and family members of archers to consider becoming certified to help at clubs.  Note that the course is not often offered so it is important to take advantage of the opportunity.

Host Location:  Paseo Vista Archery Range, 3850 S McQueen Rd in Chandler, AZ

Length of Course: Two Sundays: June 19th & June 26th.  Classes will start at 9:00 am and go until 4:00 pm.

Course Cost: $150.00 (Includes materials) + $19.00 background check. Class fees ($150.00) will be due at the first class. All Class materials and training bows will be provided. You may bring your own equipment.

Course Instructors:  Mike Cullumber (Community Coach)


Prerequisites:   USAA membership (Applicants may join USAA immediately prior to the course. Consider a family membership)

Minimum age: 18 (Basic archery instructor certification is NOT required)

Arizona Judges Reminder:  Please provide contact information to the USAA annually and participate in case study responses to maintain judge certification.

Arizona Judges are active on a national and international level.  Steven Yee is to judge and Mike Cullumber is the Chair of Judges for the 2011 Easton JOAD Nationals (EJN).  Bob Pian is the Director of Shooting for the EJN and a judge for the Ogden World Cup.  Judges Rule!
