Hearn Academy's Kids Copper Classic 300 Indoor tournament - January 15, 2011
To help celebrate the formation of the Hearn Academy JOAD club, the
club will be hosting a tournament on January 15, 2011 at the Hearn
Academy Multipurpose Gym. Named the Hearn Kids Copper Classic, the
tournament is one of many that will help our Arizona kids get ready
for the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas.
The format of the all day tournament will be as follows:
AM - 300 round, Vegas scoring. Outer 10. Limited to 32 archers
maximum. 40cm or Triangle Vegas Faces.
PM - Head to head. Top 16 scores will shoot it out in 2 flights.
Vegas face only. Round robin head to head format.
AM Round will have traditional awards based upon category and
division. PM round robin will give awards based upon the winner of
each flight. Hearn Academy's PTSA will have on-site concessions for
food and drink.

USAA Conducts First-Ever Junior Dream Team Selection Camp

Paseo Vista Archery's Team JOAD Archer Andrew Mateo was named as an alternated, CONGRATULATIONS ANDREW!
In a related story, Nancy Kim (Broomfield, CO – Untouchables JOAD) took part in the JOAD camp at PVAC in 2010 and was named as a new JDT member. CONGRATULATIONS NANCY!
It is great to see theses talented and dedicated archers reach to ever higher levels. Several PVAC JOAD campers took part in the JDT selection camp. We wish them the best of luck in the future.
